Payment and Shipping Information – We collect billing information for paid services such as credit card number and billing and/or shipping address.
Customer Support – We collect information in regards to reported problems with the Platform such as contact details and a summary of the issue.
Other Products and Services – We also collect other information such as surveys, contest submissions, track reviews, and playlist data.
You may provide information to be published or displayed on public areas of the Platform. Remember that when you share information publicly, it may be read, collected, indexed, and accessed by the public who use the Platform.
Automatic Information Collection
Usage Details – We collect information such as pages visited, referral pages, links clicked, tracks downloaded, and search queries.
Connection and Device Information – We keep track of the devices and connections used to access the Platform. This information may include your connection type, device identifiers, IP address, operating system, browser type, and crash data. Your IP address and/or country preference is used to improve your experiences using the Platform. The amount of this information collected depends on the type and settings of the accessing device.
Stored Information and Files – As part of the Platform, you shall have the option of downloading and utilizing the UGM Desktop App (“App”). After installing the App, we may automatically collect metadata and information associated with music software and music files installed and stored on your device.

- Provide the best service and personalize your experience
- Research and improve the Platform
- Communicate with you
- Respond to customer service requests and address any questions or concerns
- Securely manage your account
- Administer contests and sweepstakes you entered, and notify you if you won

- Prevent prohibited and illegal activities
- Utilize a third party to process payments
European Economic Area (EEA) Processing

Service Providers – Third-party service providers provide development, hosting, maintenance, backup, storage, payment processing, data analysis, marketing, and other services for us, which may require them to access or use information about you. If a service provider needs to access information about you to perform services on our behalf, they operate under UGM policies and procedures designed to protect your information.

Information Storage, Transmission, and Security
The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards physical, technical and administrative security measures and safeguards to protect the information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. There is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. All information collected via or by the Platform may be stored anywhere in the world, including but not limited to the United States, the European Union, in the cloud, on our servers, on the servers of our affiliates or the servers of our service providers. Your information may be accessible to law enforcement or other authorities pursuant to a lawful request. By providing information to UGM, you consent to the storage of your information in these locations.
We collect information globally and primarily store that information in the United States. We transfer, process and store your information outside of your country of residence, to wherever our third-party service providers or we operate for the purpose of providing you the Services. Whenever we transfer your information, we take steps to protect it.
Manage Your Information
You have several choices in regards to managing your personal information. You have the right to request a copy, to object to our use (including for marketing purposes), to request we your information, or to request your information in a structured, electronic format. You may contact us as provided at the end of this policy for any request.
Your request may be limited in certain cases. If you have concerns, you have the right to complain to a data protection authority in the country where you live, where you work or where you feel your rights were infringed.
Update Your Information – You may update certain information on the Platform such as your name, email, address, and other various profile information.
Deactivate Your Account – If you decide not to use the Platform, you can request to deactivate your account. Please contact us using the contact information at the end of the policy to request that your account be deactivated.
Delete Your Information – You may request that some or all your information be deleted. Certain information may be required for record keeping purposes or to comply with our legal obligations. In this case, you will be notified if we cannot comply with your request. We will delete backup copies of your information from our archives as soon as is practically possible, to the extent allowed by our other data retention obligations.
Request to Cease Data Usage – You may ask us to stop using and otherwise processing your information when you believe we do not have the appropriate rights to do so. Any request to cease usage will not affect any processing that has already taken place.
Communications Opt-Out – You may choose to stop receiving our newsletter or marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in the emails or by contacting us. Our mobile app may occasionally send push notifications that can be turned off by changing the settings on your device. You cannot opt-out of transactional messages.
Data portability – You have the ability to obtain some of your information in an electronic format. Depending on the context, not all of your information will be exportable. Please contact us to request your data.
Children’s Information Policy
The Platform is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under the age of 13, do not attempt to register with us or provide any personal information about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will promptly delete that information and terminate the account. If you believe we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, please contact us using the information at the end of this policy.
